The third annual League of Legends event (dubbed Cats vs Dogs) has officially launched with Fizz and Corki representing the canine’s whilst Rengar and Yorick battle it out for the felines in this year’s versus event.

It certainly is a rather large tonal shift compared to the two previous events which featured forces of light and dark battling one another through their avatars Riven, Garen, Darius and  Yasuo, while this year’s competition focuses more on solving one of the oldest debates regarding which pet reigns superior.

Similarly to past events there are missions that reward players with experience, emotes, blue essence and even chests and keys.

In addition this event brings with it the newest in the gold plated prestige skins this time being Fuzz Fizz Prestige skin.
