Home » DOTA 2 » Dota 2 Bug – Uninstalling Custom Games Won’t Remove Them From Your Local Disk

After finding a bug yesterday, another redditor has found that uninstalling Dota 2 custom games does not uninstall the game files from your system.

To make a bit of sense, if you played an arcade game like Overthrow and then decided to uninstall it by simply clicking on the in-game button, then after a few seconds, it will show that the game is uninstalled. However, the files would remain on your Hard Drive or SSD.

This problem has taken around 10 to 20 GB more space than the usual game files of some users and they are furious over Valve for such poor file management for their popular MOBA title.
