Dota 2 Major Epicenter 2019 confirmed to be hosted in Moscow
Dota 2 Major Epicenter 2019 is the fifth Dota 2 Major of the 2018-2019 DPC season, and its hosting will be in Moscow, organizers confirm. With the beginning date set to be on June 22nd, and a prize pool of 1,000,000 dollars, and even more important 4,950 DPC points, it is said to be one of the best Majors yet to come.
Epicenter’s Major group stages will be held between June 22nd and June 23rd to give us the upper and lower-bracket, after which the following double elimination playoffs will take place the day after.
From June 28th to June 30th, the final stage of Epicenter’s Major will be performed at legendary CSKA Arena, presenting its 360-degree stage to the viewers, giving them the experience of their lives.
Sixteen of the world’s finest Dota 2 teams contest for the $350,000 grand prize, of which fifteen teams will gain passage through open and closed qualifiers in CIS (3), China (3), Europe (3), Southeast Asia (2), South America (2), and North America (2) regions. Winners of the previous Minor will be joining Epicenter Major as their final contestants.
Complete information about Epicenter Major open qualifiers will be made public on April 2nd, right after the 4th Major in DPC 2018-2019 season comes to its conclusion, while the closed qualifiers will be taking place from May 15th to May 19th.
