After a violent controversy and a lot of argument, it is now clear that Ellie never existed in Overwatch. How could it be possible?

In a statement, Blizzard has confirmed that Ellie actually never existed as a player. Second Wind announced the commitment to Ellie before Blizzard reviewer her account. Ellie was in the team but previously known. Some members of Second Wind played with Ellie and confirmed the quality of the player. Since the account also ranked 4th in the ranking in North America, the offer was finally submitted.

Blizzard says, Second Wind has contacted Blizzard to clear up the controversy that has arisen. Blizzard confirmed to US side Unikrn that Ellie was just another player’s “identity and smurf account”.
