ESL, the leader in online gaming, has announced a new format for its next record in 2019, which will determine how players and teams compete in the new season.

ESL and the World Sports Association (WESA) have agreed to remove all online games and introduce LAN that will make a big difference to ESL Pro’s ninth season. With a full change of pace in the league, all games in the Americas and EU regions will be played on the LAN in front of the live audience, while the Asian Pacific region will continue as it is online.

In addition, the new system will make comprehensive changes to how teams qualify, which is a big change for CS: GO teams.
