Over the course of the last 2 years, Hearthstone has risen to the occasion and become one of the most popular eSports out there. This unique type of eSports title is making its name heard with a good eSports presence. There is great talent onboard with more and more international tournaments to watch and talk about. The competitive level is rising year in and year out, bound to pave the way for an even brighter eSports future for Hearthstone.
However, we will not be talking about the future of Hearthstone’s competitive scene. Nope! Instead, we will be talking about a huge milestone that Hearthstone passed just recently. More precisely, you’ll get to see all the latest info about free stuff that Blizzard announced yesterday. So, let’s jump straight into it and see what’s the fuss all about!
Hearthstone 100 million players | Free Packs
First of all, let’s start off with the fact that Blizzard is giving away a ton of stuff for free. Well, to be more precise, they are giving away a total of 6 The Boomsday Project card packs to their beloved Hearthstone players. Those who log in before the end of this event… and that’s on 11th November. We all know The Boomsday Project is a generally strong set with a ton of brilliant cards inside. That’s why, if you haven’t played Hearthstone in a while, now might be the time to wipe the dust off of your old decks and see how you perform in this new meta. You don’t have to be at the level of professionals who play eSports for money, but I reckon those new cards will definitely help you out a bit.
In addition to The Boomsday Project card packs, there will also be a special treat onboard. Hearthstone 100 million players – such a milestone doesn’t happen every day. With that said, if you’ve already finished the Boomsday Project collection, you can get an extra 500 gold. How? By doing a repeatable quest conveniently called Celebrate the Players. The quest goal is simple – play a friendly challenge and that’s about it. However, there could be some issues for new players. In fact, players who haven’t played Hearthstone in a while could face them too. Here’s what I’m talking about:
In order to be eligible for the Celebrate the Players quest, first, you will have to complete the introductory ones. First Blood and The Duelist… or Ready for Action if you haven’t played Hearthstone in a while. Once again, make sure you log in and do all this before November 11th. Otherwise, you might end up missing an opportunity to land great packs and potentially earn great cards.
