Organized by FACEIT, the Esports Championship Series (ECS) is the most watched Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. In Season 6, over 3.2 million watch hours were registered on YouTube. HyperX ECS partnership was announced and the gaming hardware giant will be the official sponsor of the event.

According to the reports, HyperX will provide the event with their keyboards, mice, mouse pads, SSDs and DRAM. The company already has experience and history of cooperation as they sponsored the FACEIT London Major in the past. Also, at the end of each game, the partnership includes “XFactor Play of the Game” – a segment where an ECS broadcast talent will talk about the best plays and moments of the match.

Currently, ECS Season 7 is in full swing. The world’s leading team Astralis undoubtedly secured their spot at the finals, alongside team Rogue. The finals, in which these teams will clash are set to happen in SSE Arena in Wembley, London from June 8th to June 9th. The motive will be the throne share of the $500,000 prize pool.

Stephanie Winkler, the strategic marketer at HyperX said: “HyperX is very excited about sponsoring Season 7 and 8 of the Esports Championship Series. Fans of ECS are always enthusiastic and passionate about gaming and the gear they use. HyperX appreciates this passion and provides them with the best gaming accessories for the final stage of the tournament and also everyday gaming.”

On the other side of the deal, FACEIT’s Chief Business Officer and Co-Founder Michele Attisani commented: “We are delighted to partner with HyperX again. The team shares the same passion we do for developing the Esports scene from the community and grassroots upwards. We’re always looking for ways to organically introduce our partners into the broadcast and we’re excited to work with HyperX to produce a brand new show which complements our efforts to create content that is engaging and entertaining.”

Founded in London in 2011, FACEIT is the leading competitive gaming platform for online multiplayer games. With more than 6 million users logging in over 12 million online game sessions each month, FACEIT is an important part of the game.

The platform has automated tournament management and matchmaking technology. This allows anyone to play in tournaments and leagues for virtual and real-world prizes and helps connect the rising talents with the industry. With this HyperX ECS collaboration, we know those talents will be equipped with the highest quality gear for maximum performance.
