Anthony “ImpressioN” Lim is a Singaporean Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player who is currently a backup player for B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape. Recently, ZhiWei “oi” Liu left the team, and with that, left the spot for us to see ImpressioN in BTRG.

ImpressioN in BTRG

Since he was benched by BOOT-d[S], which he joined in 2017, he was looking for new opportunities. While he was with the team, ImpressioN attended many LAN tournaments, including three big ones: DreamHack Masters Malmö in 2017, IEM Sydney in 2018 and ESL One Cologne in 2018.

Anthony already played for BTRG in the past. He contributed notably in the second Chinese qualifier for IEM Sydney. More recently, in the Asian Development League, he helped the team win the fight against Panda.

ImpressioN’s words about this event are as follows: “Joining BTRG is honestly a challenge that I had heavily considered since I first established contact with them. They needed a player who could be something like a catalyst for the team, and it seems so far I’ve been a great fit for the criteria. Binding the experiences of every individual player together and grinding to make it work, setting a system in place that can function.”

BTRG Gaming tweeted: “We are very pleased to officially announce the transfer of ImpressioN from BOOT.ds to BTRG!”

This is how BTRG’s roster looks like as of now:

  • Kristjan “fejtZ” Allsaar
  • Erik “truth” Hansen Drynes
  • ZhiTao “Drea3er” Zhang
  • BinJie “Cate” Wang
  • Anthony “ImpressioN” Lim

Anthony thinks this was a great move for him. As he said, they have goals and hunger, and all that is left is for them to work out as a unit. He is looking forward to seeing how far they can reach and is hoping to achieve great things with his new team. As for the team, ImpressioN in BTRG will probably be a great Kickstarter to get moving.
