Facts about Vancouver Titans

Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, Vancouver Titans is a professional Overwatch eSports team. The organization is founded in 2018 and is owned by a Canadian investor Francesco Aquilini of the Aquilini Group. Titans compete in the Overwatch League and are members of the OWL’s Pacific Division. They are the only professional OW team to come from Canada apart from Toronto Defiant.

Being already the owner of an NHL club Vancouver Canucks, the Aquilini Group saw the vast potential eSports industry has to offer and decided to step in. All of the above led to Activision Blizzard announcing on September 7, 2018, that the group had acquired a slot for the Vancouver-based team, for an estimated $30 to $60 million.

Teams logo features a Sasquatch, a mythological figure associated with the folklore of the Pacific Northwest. The Sasquatch also features a “V” shaped nose and a mountain range integrated at the top of his head.
