The first place on the list of most watched eSports tournaments was taken by the 2018 World Championship by League of Legends, the second by The International 2018, and the third by ELEAGUE Major 2018 by CS: GO. These championships were spectated by 74 million, 53 million and 49.5 million people, respectively. The Moscow major EPICENTER XL became the most watched Dota 2 tournament in 2018 after The International 2018 with more than 17 million viewers.
The 2018 Mid-Season Invitational LoL was the only tournament in the Esports Charts ranking that showed a decrease in audience base compared to the previous championship series. It was watched by 27 million people – almost 8 million viewers less than last year.
