TYLOO And ViCi Have Been Invited to ESL Pro League S9 China
China is becoming a reputable powerhouse in Esports, investing substantial amounts of money into the industry. Hosting many big events, ESL Pro League China is one of them, and two of well-known teams already received their invitations.
ESL Counter-Strike tweeted: “Our Greater China direct invites for the #ESLProLeague Season 9 are tyloogaming & Vici!”
TYLOO and ViCi are taking up half the slots in the event’s group stage. The remaining two are still open, and the contenders will be decided after the closed qualifier. The group stage is scheduled to happen on April 19 – April 21.
The Chinese duo was already seen on IEM Katowice Major, leaving the tournament in the New Challengers Stage with a 2-3 record.
Aside from the ESL Pro League China, TYLOO already has some serious business to focus on. Before the end of this month, the team will attend the i-League Season 7, hosted in Shanghai. Half a million dollars will be on the line on this particular event. Since TYLOO revamped their roster, this will be their second tournament to attend in the current form.
The roster changes included the returns of two veteran players – YuLun “Summer” Cai and YuanZhang “AttackeR” Sheng. Aside from their reinstation, they appointed the Ukrainian player Ivan “Johnta” Stevtsov as the team coach.
After this group stage, the two prevailing teams will be progressing to the second stage. At this point, they will be joined by the progressing teams of the Rest of Asia group stage. They will fight for dominion and that one spot on ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals on May 14 – May 16.
On the finals, the Asian finalists will be joined by finalists from Europe, Americas and one from Oceania.
